I'm interested in doing the Lariet Loop ride, but does anyone know what kind of elevation gain it has? I've been doing 50 mile rides, but they have been mostly flat rides.

psiphi, I'm not real sure, I tried looking it up but I didn't get an correct elevation gain from where we are starting.

Somewhere in the 2,950 ft elevation gain.

Like I said don't take my word for it though.

For what it is worth 3000 is pretty easy for a 50 mile loop. Around 6000 is when it gets annoying for me.

Well this is starting from Bergen Park in Evergreen, we are starting in Morrison. We have to climb to Evergreen, but its really not that bad.

Climbing is your friend. If your starting your training for the triple NOW, you'll be a machine for it next year.

I only started in February and I was amazed by the progress I made from May to June only.
