I would ask but there really isn't a "charitable" charity on that list. It's not like you riding for breast cancer awareness or MDA. From what I can tell it's just random places along the race route. I could be wrong so I'm still researching it.
Edited a few minutes later:
Last year, Triple Bypass participants and sponsors helped generate over $90,000 in charity support.
This helps my cause but I wish I could put a single name to it like "I'm riding for Cancer Research wanna help?" I think it would be easier. Maybe I'm over thinking it.

The weather is looking great for this weekend, I'm up for it!
Oh, I stopped by Westside Cycling last night and weighed my tank while I was there... 41 lbs.

Club Hypoxia has route maps for a ride that includes lookout mountain. We could grab them from there. Tons of good routes out here by us.
Edit: Hrmm.. it was Team Evergreen, and their route map start in Gennesee.

Here is my route. This is from my house.
Ride some residental streets up to Alameda. Alameda South to Jewell. Jewell West to C-470. Now we can take the bike path along C-470 or go up Rooney Rd. (which I call Dakota) short climb to the back side of Morrison. Ride Morrison up thru Red Rocks or go North to Golden and take the bike path along Hwy 6th to 19th Street, then start climbing Lookout??
There are a ton of possibilties. I'm open for anything.

yeah yeah yeah, you just don't want to drive anywhere!
We can meet at the Paradise Hills Park-n-Ride (Address: 22222 US Hwy 40, Golden Location: I-70 @ exit 256) , head north to Lookout, up Lookout, down Hwy 40 (Mt Vernon Canyon Rd, alongside I70), then head south towards Red Rocks and come back north via the C470 trail. It'd be a great figure 8 with some significant climbing....
what do you kids think?

Have fun kids, I will be in Boston (hopefully) celebrating the new year. Assuming the snow lets us go. Count me in next time.
