Denver Group Ride, 4 March 2007
Sunday is supposed to be very nice, so let's try this again.
Sunday, 4 March 2007: 11:16ish, Broomfield Park-n-Ride at 120th and Wadsworth. We'll ride a good old standard that's one of my favorites in eastern Boulder County. Look here to see the route. It's around 30 miles but if we need more miles there's lots of places to increase the mileage.

Not sure if I will be there. I haven't decided if I'm going to ride or not.

Triple Bypass is probably gonna be anti-climactic for me... I'm signing up for a 200k and 300k brevet, and seriously considering the 400k and 600k brevets. All of which take place BEFORE the Triple Bypass.
It'll be fun anyway.

Darn! I'm hosting a ride from Wheat Ridge to top of Lookout & back. Otherwise I'd be there!

I got there at 11:18 and circled the parking lot for 20 minutes before catching the next south bound bus.

I'm planning on riding with RMCC, so I probably won't have time for other rides... I'm gonna do brevets this spring/summer. My summer looks pretty booked solid.

D'oh! I completely spaced getting a sitter and instead took the kid to the zoo. Afterwards we dropped the car off with his mom and rode back to our house 15 miles or so. Just a gorgeous day.
We headed over to REI to check out their crappy pedal and shoe selection. Purchased leg warmers instead.
The platte trail was nuts. Tons of cyclists and peds. Saw one guy stick his arm out as a cyclist was riding by. Cyclist was fine. His arm not so much.
I think my wife has this coming up weekend off. I will double check before asking if anyone wants to ride. It would be nice if I could ever swing a group ride of some sort. I'd hope the conversation would make more sense than with my 3 year old.
