Great deals at REI -- I got a tent
REI has 20 percent off on any item. I got a two-person tent that is easy to set up, good for three seasons, for $135. You could pay $50 more for a 5-pound tent, but this 6-pounder will suit me fine. It will be great for Ride the Rockies. You'll want to also buy the ground cloth (which they call a footprint) and upgrade the stakes -- an extra $37.
