Hey all you Denverites... come out for a good cause this weekend

C'mon out and help us show some support!

Red Riders is a riding club for diabetics and .... Well... Zin explains it SO much better:

Red Riders Club

Please join us on a ride this coming Sunday in support of all those that live with diabetes.

Ride Details:

I have been asked to tell my story to Denver News2 for a feature series on people living with diabetes to air the last week of February leading up to the Denver Diabetes Expo on March 1st. The piece will focus on my transformation from 340# couch pilot to my current 190# active lifestyle and how that lifestyle has effected the diabetes.

I would like to invite all Red Riders and all Hypoxians (pass the word) to join me in a Hypoxia ride this coming Sunday at 12:30PM leaving from the Bear Creek Trail Head on Estes just south of Yale to the upper lot of Red Rocks where the interview will take place. The TV photographer will be shooting video as we ride. Once the interview is complete, we can ride on over the Hog Back, then back down Rooney Road or anywhere we decide.

Lets just hope for good weather.

Please post here if you plan to come out to ride.

Please come out and join us!

Ride was cancelled, as the weather was too bad to ride bikes... So I teleported myself and my bike to the interview location to support my friend.

's ok... the group part was cancelled because of weather... I was the only one that showed up.

There'll be plenty of group rides in the near future, though. I like to cross-post rides from the other website I'm on to get as many people together as possible.

Wow Bill! Thanks for posting this here! I am completely neglectful in checking this site out. Slow day at work today, so been surfing my favorite sites.

Got ya covered. I cross-post a lot of rides between the sites. Try to get as many people involved as possible.
