Boulder has a bike blog.

I'm surprised it hasn't happened already.

Boulder has so many families of cyclists--commuters, roadies, mtn bikers, the cruisers, bmx'ers, trials, freakbikers and more--and it seems like they don't communicate with each other very well...or perhaps as well as they should.

I figured it was time someone did something about it, and started:

www.boulderbikes.blogspot.com

If you have an idea for a story, please send it my way. i just had the inspiration for this yesterday, and my head is still spinning with ideas and things to try and all kinds of goodness.

If you're interested in contributing, let's talk.

Like i said, I just got the idea yesterday, so it still needs quite a bit of work, to say nothing of the content. The colors and layout will definitely change, but let me say, they looked awesome at 1:30 this morning...

Thanks.

josh.

Very cool josh, I am surprised you have not included a certain species of boulder biker; The ridculous maximus albino aero-bar on a road bike cycler. Gotta love using aero bars going 2 mph.

There is a developer working on permits to build a track in Erie. Here is the discussion on this forum about this and mention of plans for one in Broomfield.

I hope it works out, the drive to Colo Springs is a beast with high gas costs.

thanks for the kind words, everyone! I added some links this morning...I know there's more to come. I do realize I don't know it all...

i've been hearing rumors of a velodrome for a while...but nothing solid. i'll look into it.

also, the spandex warrior crowd is one i have yet to infiltrate. i'm working on it.

for now, i'm pretty much posting the things i've got in my circle of interests...once it gains some momentum, i'm hoping people start sending me post ideas and happenings, and it grows from there.

thanks again, everyone.
