Boulder area biking with a kid trailer
We're new to the area and are surprised by how difficult it is to find good places to ride with a kid trailer. Any recommendations on safer places to do a road bike ride with kid in tow? Most roads are too fast, and the Boulder Creek path seems too crowded. Willing to drive a bit to get to a good path.

Boulder is "THE" biking mecca in the state, so it's weird to hear you say you can't find a place to ride there. There a million places to ride there and ever street connects. You can get anywhere in that city on a bike. As far as the traffic in Boulder, they are some the most curteous drivers you'd ever want to meet. My suggest is, explore your surroundings. I think you will be pleasantly surpised.

Yes, the boulder creek path is psycho. I'm especially not enjoying all the folks walking around with fishing poles on it right now. I prefer the roads myself, but completely understand not wanting to take your baby on them.
If you get away from downtown the paths are less crowded. Check this map out, and ride anything east of 30th. The path out by Stazio is empty, and can connect thru Valmont Park. I haven't been on the one in Pleasant View Soccer Field, but I ride 47th by there all the time and it looks empty.

The Pearl Street path east of 30th is fine, and so is the Foothills path itself.

You can check out this site https://geobiking.org for trails.
Most of them are off road - I try not to include routes that aren't family friendly.
Of course - I doubt you want to try single track with a trailer.
And evenings and weekends will be more crowded on the trails.
You can view the trails via google Earth.
If you have a handheld GPS, you should be able to download the tracklogs to follow as well
