The county is getting a petition to get GOCO funding for 5 more miles of the Poudre river trail to be built by 2015. That would leave about 4 miles left to connect the two trails for a 41mile-ish long trail mostly along the river from LaPorte to the east side of Greeley.

I dont think the petition is getting a lot of local publicity, which is a shame. I ran across it on the internet while looking to print a map as I am taking the trail out and back from Fort Collins on Saturday.
