Smoking the bicyclists in Colorado

Does anyone recognize where this is in Colorado?
This video is from 2010 but someone recently posted it to our local Facebook cycling page. It's probably a Ride the Rockies or Bicycle Tour of Colorado ride.


Searching the youtuber's handle and "colorado" produces this result: http://www.farmersonly.com/view/Redn...&source_page=7 . The guy in the personal ad has the same screen name. "I would however like someone who doesn't smoke as I can't stand it."

There are guard rails, which rules out some locations.

There were rocks on the shoulder, which is unlikely for RTR at least as the course is cleared every morning.
