2017 Icycle Bicycle Ride, Pittsburgh, PA 1/1/2017
The Western Pennsylvania Wheelmen are again sponsoring their annual New Year's Day casual ride around Pittsburgh. Ride leaves REI at the Southside Works at 11:00 AM. Arrive early to sign in. REI frequently supplies hot drinks, pre-ride. Helmets are required. The route and length of the ride is dependent on the weather, but it's usually somewhere around 13 to 15 miles. It's a fun outing!

National Weather gives a ride start time forecast as 34 degrees, winds west at 3, with a wind chill of 31. Skies should be clearing with less than 10% chance of precipitation. Not a bad forecast for January in Pittsburgh!
