Bicycling Magazine's 'Fall Classic'
Is anybody else in the Lehigh Valley considering doing the Fall Classic by Bicycling magazine at the Velodrome on Oct 7th? Here is the Link https://www.bicycling.com/fallclassic
It seems pretty decent, but I wasn't sure about the Gran Fondo start being that everything else is a standard touring start. If anyone on here is gonna do, drop me a note. Pretty sure there are King/Queen of the Mountain prizes.

So, any feedback on the ride? I had thought about doing it, but I had to work on Sunday. I did the Sea Gull Century in Salisbury, MD, on Saturday instead, and I probably got the better deal in terms of the weather!

I am wondering the same still. Unfortunately they scheduled the ride on the same day as 3 other MAJOR events in this area for cycling. It was very stupid to have to choose between them all. Plus it was all of 40 degrees at 730 in the morning.

I went..it was far colder than 40 degrees at the ride start.Unsure it ever hit 40 all day. I dare say half the average riders opted for the shortest route available and then the coffee shop.
