weekend rides in Pa
Anyone have any links (Cycling club outings etc.)for weekend cycling events..maby thru the Amish country etc. for 2013.
Much as I'd like to do a week long event I already blew most of my vacation time on other cycling events so the weekend getaway is it.

Have you checked out the Harrisburg Bicycle Club? The area you mentioned is pretty friendly to bikes, in my experience, as well as some really nice riding farther west toward Chambersburg, Carlisle, Gettysburg. I spent the summer in Carlisle for work in 2011, and rode 3-4 times a week in that area with nary an issue, the locals seem to understand bikes belong on roads and give plenty of berth when passing.

Found a nice one for next year.
Oil Heritage Trail from Titusville to Emlenton
Several folks I ride with did this earlier last month and said it was a great ride offering a ton of scenery and sidebar interests.
NIce part is I can use either Franklin or Oil City as a base/start point and rid north one day and south the next.
