Jersey City and Hoboken Bike Share at Odds with Each Other

This story appeared yesterday:

Bike-share spat pits Jersey City against Hoboken |

First, Jersey City and Hoboken couldn't agree on a single integrated bike share system, which undermines bike share in both cities. Bike share is all about network effects; the more places you can go, the more useful the system is, and the more riders it'll attract. And now they're practically at fisticuffs fighting for riders, which is good for no one. I've seen very little news about bike share in Jersey. Can anyone in Jersey talk about what it looks like on the ground?
