Ithaca NY road bike rental
 

I'm a former Ithaca NY native, making a pilgrimage home for a few weeks coming up. I definitely want to rent a road bike for my time there, and hope someone can point me in the right direction. Multiple people have steered me toward Glen Swan, who runs a little outfit Swan Bikes in Freeville, but when I called yesterday during his "business hours" I got a "this number has been disconnected" message... so he might not be open anymore?

Ideally I'm looking for a decent lightweight carbon bike (my standard rig is a 2019 Emonda) but I'm open to whatever I can find. In a pinch I would head to Syracuse or another nearby bigger city, if anyone has any suggestions farther afield.

Thanks so much! I think there is some stupid phone system issue preventing my cell phone in California from connecting with that 607-277-0495 number, but I found that cell number associated with him on another website and talked to him the other day. If anybody finds this thread in the future: Glen Swan (Swan Bikes) is still doing his thing, rents out road bikes, and by all accounts is a super helpful resource for Ithaca area cyclists.

Can't wait to rip around the local hills that seemed so huge back in my high school mountain bike days, and find a good day to do a Cayuga lake loop!
