India Point Park / East Bay trail parking

Is there parking at India Point Park for riding the East Bay Trail?
I usually park at the lot on the Veteran's Parkway.

I usually do too because the family doesn't like taking the bridge or India Point Park however there are two places you can park if you wish to take the path at its very beginning and get over the 195 bridge.

The first is a small parking lot for India Point Park proper. The second is depending on time of day there is street parking available just next to India Point Park. It's right there in plain sight you can't miss it if you just go to the park itself.

There is additional parking under the 195 bridge on Gano street, on the new path extension that goes by the red bridge to Pitman St.

It's very pretty and beautiful. I personally like bike paths less as I live in a more rural area and don't feel like I can quite "open her up" or pedal as hard/fast as I wish on account of different people enjoying it. IT's the speed differential that causes accidents and roads around here are usually (not always) wide with nice big shoulders/emergency lanes. It's not as bad as it was in early COVID. I remember some of the message boards last March were saying to stay off the bike paths as they were mobbed but that the new bike paths have become the roads at large as the cars completely disappeared! But yes very scenic, pretty and well worth your time.
