*blows the dust off*

All right - I'm in :D

noteon 08-25-10 09:23 PM

OK, that's two...

Anybody else? Even taking multiple personalities into account, that's not a proper food ride.

noteon 08-26-10 06:49 AM

Testing, testing. Is this thing on?

jyossarian 08-26-10 08:36 AM

I'm in. Where we eating?

Air 08-26-10 09:20 AM

Dino's? Chelsea Brewery? Nathan's? Mmmm....Nathan's - could probably get down there in time for fireworks....

jyossarian 08-26-10 11:31 AM

BBQ sounds good. Unless you wanna trek out to Flushing for Chinese.

Air 08-26-10 12:21 PM

I'll trek anywhere.

jyossarian 08-26-10 12:45 PM

We meeting at your place Air?

Air 08-26-10 05:42 PM

angel_ave 08-26-10 08:22 PM

jyossarian 08-27-10 09:50 AM

What's our back up plan if Dino's outdoor seating area is crowded? Daisy May's?

noteon 08-27-10 11:38 AM

What about Pier 1? 70th Street, right on the greenway.

pgoat 08-27-10 11:59 AM

I may be in, fellers. Thanks for the heads up J Yo.

Anyone going to / previously done the Moonlight Ride in Central Park tomorrow?

http://times-up.org/index.php?page=m...ride-manhattan

I just moved here and was thinking about checking it out.

mecasillas75 09-03-10 04:56 AM

I was planning on doing the moonlight ride tonight for the first time as well.

Air 09-03-10 06:00 AM

It's an awesome ride - I'm not sure if I can make it, depends how late a rehearsal goes. Tonight's usually one of the largest groups of the year.

Before you go though check the Times Up website - they may cancel because of Earl though projections right now look mostly clear tonight.

Cyclist0106 09-03-10 07:59 AM

Air do you play tuba? I may have snooped your profile but I can't PM yet (<50 posts, which is a dumb rule)

jyossarian 09-03-10 01:36 PM

I can't make tonight's ride cuz I'm outta town, but for the noobs, it's fun so go unless it's raining hard in which case, go next month.

Air 09-03-10 01:39 PM

Next time Jyo!

@rudi - yup! The 50 is a way to keep the spam down :)

soundtweakers 09-03-10 01:55 PM

the moonlight thing sounds like fun. anybody know how long it? distance and time wise.

is there a registration of some sort?

jyossarian 09-03-10 04:55 PM

Show up at Columbus Circle at 10 PM tonight. No registration and no fixed route. The ride leader basically makes it as long or as short as conditions and crowd allows. This is a super slow ride through the walking paths of the park so bring good lights.
