Need Advice: Fine Dining Baltimore

I am giving a gift card to a couple who just got married. They're in Baltimore. Is the Capital Grille a good restaurant? Or is there others that are highly recommended? I plan to spend between 150-200 dollars for them.

One of the BEST restaurants in Baltimore (and I've been to most) is located in Fells Point: Louisiana Restaurant. http://www.louisianasrestaurant.com/...TML/index.html

Food is spectacular, service is awesome and it is not some generic chain...I have been here 6-8 times over the past few years and never had a disappointing experience. Check them out...I send people there all the time. Also, it is right next to a blues bar for after dinner drink and music.

There are so many choices in Baltimore, although a lot are probably more casual than you are looking for. Do you know if your friends like a particular type of food? There's a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse near the Power Plant area; also in that neck of the woods is the Blue Sea Grill, which is very nice. Little Italy has some great restaurants, if they like Italian -- Boccaccio, or the traditional favorite, Sabatino's. Last year's "Best of" edition of the City Paper picked Charleston (in Fells Point/Harbor East) as Baltimore's best "fancy" restaurant.

I second Boccaccio's or Sabatino's . Two of the best Italian restaurants anywhere. I go there everytime I'm in Baltimore, which isn't as often as I like. We usually go by boat and stay at the Inner Harbor. With fuel prices being what they are, that's an expense dinner weekend :)

Two of my favorites are the Brass Elephant on Charles St

and in Little Italy, Da Mimmo (they have free parking)

Also, is there a Capital Grille in Baltimore, I thought it was in DC? No need to dine in DC if you are in Baltimore. Plenty of choices

Since this is a bicycle forum, how about The Bicycle (Light St, Federal Hill)
http://www.bicyclebistro.com/
Don't know if they have gift cards.

For everyday dining (and other discounts) give them one of these.
