Group Ride On The Cape. Want One? MA
Also cross posted in the Road Cycling section
Hello, I have noticed that there are some group rides that happen down on Cape Cod in MA! This has gotten me excited as I live there and enjoy them alot. Anyways most of the ones I have found have either passed, or they cost about 300 bucks to sign up for, and that is with sleeping arrangements and food, as I do not need either it seems pointless to pay for it. So, I am here to see if any BFers would like to have a ride down on Cape Cod. If there is enough interest I would like to set this up. I would like to shoot for sometime in October (Too cold?) as I have some things that need to be done in September. As for a route, I would think that riding on the Cape Cod Rail Trail would be ok, only because there shouldn't be much traffic on the trail in October. We could ride the whole strectch which goes from Dennis, (which has a trailhead) to the Wellfleet trailhead, which is 22 miles from Dennis to Wellfleet, 44 Miles round trip. Information available here http://www.mass.gov/dcr/parks/southeast/ccrt.htm Again this is just an idea. I figured I would see who is interested (if anyone) If interested send me a PM or send me an email at Bow_Zinger@comcast.net Happy riding! :) |
I may be up there 3rd week in October...the path from Dennisport up to Welfleet is pretty and flat...
