Wompatuck Overrun with Police
A buddy and I took a ride last Wednesday and passed through Wompatuck State Park in SE Mass. We went to turn into the side path that leads to the crit loop and it was packed with 3 or 4 police cars. To our right was a SWAT van turning around.
We decided to forgo a loop around the crit and kept going to grab some water at the visitor center. When we got there there was about 50 cruisers from every local town, cops on ATV's pulling small rescue boats, cops on mt bikes, wall-to-wall cops.
We stopped to chat and found out that they were on a training mission. It looked like "Die Hard in the Woods".
