Hasbrouck Heights to Rutherford route

Anyone here from the Hasbrouck Heights area? I need to ride from near Teterboro Airport to the Rutherford train station. (The Teterboro station doesn't have trains going south from a little before 5pm to after 10pm.)

I came up with this:

I think you need a better way across 17.
Isn't there a light at Franklin?

Yes, there is, but I'll be on the southbound side, so turning off onto Ottowa isn't a problem.

Am I better off taking Boulevard all the way, or is Terrace Ave to into Hackensack Ave a better bet?

If it were me, I would take the BLVD. Terrace is quite narrow & with some of those buses & cars barreling down to avoid RT 17, I would prefer to take the BLVD, then cut back onto Paterson Plank when you hit Carlstadt.

Perfect, boiling springs will lead you the the railroad tracks close to the train station.

Are you planning to lock up the bike @ the Rutherford train station or do you have a foldup?

I have a folder. I'm planning to take the train into Teterboro Station, and leave from Rutherford.

There may be a way to get there without hitting Rt 17 at all.

It looks fine. 17 becomes a local road by that point.
