Little neck PKWY and 495 service.

Who is riding this Saturday and Sunday morning riding?
I just joined this group 2 weeks ago and I love it.

They have an easy group and faster group and I'm joining Saturday morning easy one.

I do that ride a lot on Sundays, never seen a group, just solo cyclists.

I don't know but there is a triangle like small park on 495 service road and Little neck PKWY.
(East bound)
easy group starts 8:00 and the fast group starts 8:30 morning every Saturday and Sunday morning.

I'll join this Saturday morning.

I always pass by the little triangle park on the way to work (that taco bell behind it taunts me daily), I always imagined it might be a good meeting spot for a group. Thanks for the info mikeE

Mike:

Thanks for the info.

How "fast" is the fast group and how "easy" is the easy group?

Also, do they return to the same spot at the end of the ride?

It was fun.
Today riding was 50 miles(maybe 52?) and sometime they were slow but when they push the pedal, over 28 m/h on flat road. We had short break at Oysterbay and when we back to the triangle, it was 11:00AM.
group was about 20 people.

this picture and movie clip are from 2weeks ago.
