Air, the markings that don't exist can't be washed away. Seriously, once you got over the Triboro, it was very, very, poorly marked.

I agree. I thought the route was marked pretty well.
Except for a few abrupt turns it was pretty simple.
Especially if you rode with a few people.
What one person missed another would pick up.

I and several other riders missed a whole bunch of markers in the Bronx. It was tough. I had a GPS unit that got us back to an intersection on the turn sheet. Some people ahead of us just kept going in the wrong direction, we never saw them again.
