Hummelstown, just downwind of Hershey and slightly upwind of Stupidlybrave...
... and while I was wishing to be riding outside yesterday, I was already committed to coaching the 2-hour spin at the Gym.
SB,I assume you got out?

Luckeeeeeeee.......
Had a group going out at 10; thought about doing that AND the class. However, more pressing issues took priority

Ugh... I've been getting the smack down from a bronchitis / sinus infection double whammy. I would be psyched to get out for an easy spin on Saturday, but that may be pushing it.

Yesssss! 50-miler today. 30 degrees at the start, but upper 40's by the finish. Nice climb up King's Gap, too (4-mile, gentle climb). Descent was damn cold, tho...
There are some groups up in the Hbg. area who do specific training rides every Tuesday night (in warmer weather). Realize it's a distance for you, but they train well -

So....who got out there this weekend?
I got lucky. 50 miles including up King's Gap on Saturday - chilly descent, but felt great overall. Then another 35 from the Hershey Theatre out to Gretna and back. The wind was brutal coming back, and my friend Molly clipped my back wheel in a wind gust and went down HARD (she's ok....just checked on her again), but to get that kind of a weekend in early February was a bonus.
Legs are actually feeling pretty good, too. Don't ever knock those Spinning classes for keeping the legs and lungs road-ready!

Didn't get out this weekend but rode on Monday, with temps in the 50s. Managed to do 30 miles on the C & O Canal from Williamsport to Fort Frederick and back on my mountain bike. The trail was mostly wet and muddy. Think thawed ground on top of frozen ground. Had a great ride but came back very wet/muddy. Now, to go down stairs and get my bike clean again.

I got out on Saturday, Sunday and Monday for 30+ each day. The only problem was on Sunday, I headed north and east and after about twenty miles I started heading back westward...into a nice steady wind. By the time I got home my legs were calling me all kinds of nasty names and promising to give out on me if I ever tried that again, so of course I went out the next day. Today I'm resting, but it sounds like tomorrow has possibilites.

I'm in Dover, about 5 miles outside of York.
Never ridden with anyone from YAMBA though.
Not sure if there is a road group or club that rides in York as I haven't been riding that long.
