Cape Cod rail Trail
This was iced up at the trail head in South Dennis but clear from Orleans to Eastham. I used the parking lot for checking out the bikes after the recent work. Love my new brakes, cables and housings. The bar ends are good too. I parked near a pond and used the MTB to get to the bay (1st Encounter Beach) and the old 10-speed to do some of the CCRT to the ocean (Nauset Light Beach). 13.6 miles total, 4 on the MTB and 9.6 on the old roadie. It was maybe 55 degrees with 10-15 mph wind and 30 knot gusts! But it was sunny.
The bay was all frozen and the ocean side was at low tide. It was nice get a fix of sun and riding to help ease my cabin fever! Tomorrow we'll be back below freezing. UGH

Funny how any time of year there is a steady stream of people going to the beaches in their cars just to check it out. At least Sunday was sunny and there were quite a few walking the ocean side. Glad you enjoyed - it's a hike to get there - but well worth it.
