Typical DC freak show.
They freak if it snows.
The freak if it rains heavily.
They freak if it's hot.
They freak if the weather is calm(except they become a giant collective of morons by thinking they can do illegal things and not get caught).
They freak if it snows.

Bike ≠ Car ≠ Ped.
I've only been here for about ten years, but...
... is correct.

I did some research and it is Morse. When I posted what I thought I heard, I already knew it was wrong. Sounds similar but not the same. Morse is probably funnier but not in a way I get.
You can buy "Morse Science High" baseball caps and "Not Insane - Papoon for President" campaign buttons online.
I think I have some of that stuff on reel-to-reel tapes around here somewhere... Now where did I put that tape deck?

Bike ≠ Car ≠ Ped.
Meanwhile, you passive-aggressive-ly write posts like this:
... and immediately delete them. Maybe you should practice what you preach so that you don't sully your own thread.
I've asked you not to post negative comments here.

Where are you located? Are you in DC? Who are you referring to when you say "they"? None of us are from here.
Maybe you're better than the rest of us. Talk about DC residents as "they" and not "we" if it makes you feel superior.
I'm glad you don't identify as a Washingtonian. Now please leave.

They're freaking out again!
Driving slowly in blizzards, leaving buildings that are being evacuated, now sandbags! What a bunch of nervous Nellies!

I stocked up on beer.

Hey guys! I'll bet it's not news to you that DC has the nation's most accident prone drivers.

Every time someone quits using a car in favor of a bicycle, the average IQ of the car drivers goes down. Very few intelligent people still drive.

I didn't take any pictures of bikers today, but the pictures of squirrels I posted earlier get more views anyway. So here's some squirrel pictures from today, Lafayette Park. If all the views of my squirrel pictures are just one of you looking at the same pictures everyday, I think I know who you are. These are for Dave.

Thanks. I think this one almost works. I missed the rider, but caught his reflection. I'd like it if it was easier to see that he's on a bicycle.

I was struck by that thought too. DC hasn't started selling ad space on the sides of fire trucks yet, but maybe they should.

I've done BikeDC a couple of times. You can avoid the mass start and go later. But you're right about that hill climb -- most people dismount, and they're all over the road. You pretty much have to ride with hands on the brake levers at all times on any popular ride like this.
