Randall's Island Roads
 

Has anyone ridden the new roads on Randall's Island? They look super smooth from the Triboro and I was thinking of letting my inner Fabian Cancellara out this weekend if possible...

Any word on how good of a ride they are?

the new roads are nice but there isn't all that much of them, however, the part where you go past the golf area is terrible and I got forced into a huge crack in betwen sheets of concrete by an uncercover cop car and went over my bars going about 25. ****ed my bike up decently, cracked my helmet and got scraped up pretty good, but once you get south it's better. I live on 83rd st so I go up and over the footbridge and as soon as you come off the bridge that area is in good shape. they've done a nice jobs with the fields up there as well.
