Handcycle Bikes in Virginia

Are there any bikes shops in central Va that sell handcycle bikes, Richmond, Va area or 50 miles out.

You might want to call Contes or Agees and ask them. I don't think they sell them but they might know who does. Also check the RABA website and send an email to the contact person. They are very friendly and helpful, and their network is huge.

You might also want to call Bikes@Vienna in Vienna, Virginia to ask them about Richmond-area resources. They have alot of specialty bikes (folders, recumbents) and might know about handbikes.

BTW, this should really be in the Southeast forum. You might get more help there.

Thank you, Tulip. After doing a lot of searching, I found a gentleman in williamsburg that's a seller of Handcycle's somewhat used. So I'm getting one from him. Thank you very nuch for your help. If you are a rider, hope to see you on the road one day. Do you ride in the Richmond area?

That's great that you found a source nearby. I'm in the RVA area and I ride with RABA from time to time. They have lots of rides of varying speeds. I've never seen a handcycle in person, but I'm sure you would be welcomed and your handcycle would be ooohed and aaaahed over. We are technical bike geeks, afterall.
