Cambridge, MA to Scituate, MA route suggestions?

I'm looking to do a ride to a company event in Scituate, MA from Cambridge, MA. Does anyone have any route suggestions or know what the elevation changes will be like?

Thanks

Do this:

1. Buy a Rubel bike map at a bike store (this will have all the roads and have them color coded for how good they are for biking)

2. Using that as your guide, create your route on https://www.bikeroutetoaster.com

Bike Route Toaster will calculate all the elevation for your route so you can see actual inclines as well as total ascent. It also allows you to save it as a GPX or TCX for loading into a GPS, and you can print out turn-by-turn directions on paper too.

I don't have a specific route to offer, but

-the boston area rubel map is pretty good. It covers a ton of Boston and its surrounding areas. I'd recommend spending a little extra on the waterproof version if you get it. It's more durable than the non.
-stop by any bike shop around boston and pick up a free bike map put out by the city of boston for some route guidance for some of the way: https://www.cityofboston.gov/Images_D...onbikesmap.pdf
they include bike paths as well as user-suggested street paths, color coded by "level of difficulty." You can also get it mailed to you for free.
-check out the bicycling routes on https://www.openstreetmap.org (navigate to boston and click the "+" on the right hand side. select "cycling"). many of the routes covered on the rubel maps are covered there. There's also a route to Provincetown on it.
-check out local routes people have posted on https://www.mapmyride.com
+1 on useing bikeroutetoaster.com to plot a route and see elevation changes.

cheers!

Have you tried Google maps?

Does not seem like a bad option, at least getting out of the city.

Could take the Boston ferry (nice ride) to Hingham then follow rte. 3A to Scituate. There are two hills that are pretty easy.
