Long Island?
Any of my neighbors trying to cut down on the costs of getting to work?
I bought an F-150 last May when gas was under $3 a gallon, had I known it would have been a Ranger instead. In an effort to save some money I've just started getting back on the bike again after a few years off.

I now work within a 15-minute bike ride of my home and do plan to start pedaling to work this spring. Unfortunately, the roads between here and the job are not very bike-friendly, so keep your eyes out for my obituary.

Lets hope it doesn't come down to that. I understand what you mean, folks on LI are not known for being considerate. I'm lucky, for the most part I can stay to the side roads on the way to work, on the way home I plan to get some mileage in so I'm going to have to brave some main roads.
