East Hampton May 7th - Seeking Club Ride

My kids have a synchronized swim meet in East Hampton the weekend of May 7th. Assuming the weather is good, I am hoping to sneak away and meet up with an organized (or better yet, slightly dis-organized) club ride (road) for that Saturday morning. I am looking for something approx 50 miles, approx 3 hours.

Any suggestions from the BF gang?

There's a ride out of the bike shop in Middletown (across the river) on Saturday mornings. Only 2 hours or so, you should call first to be certian it's on https://pedalpowerct.com/articles/gro...inics-pg37.htm

Also check the CT clubs
AMC , A ride isn't posted yet for that weekend but there will be one or two. https://www.ct-amc.org/cycling/RideListings.shtm
Yankee Pedalers- Their rides for that weekend are a long ride to the start. https://www.yankeepedalers.com/default.htm
Pequot Cyclists- Sunday ride is about 1/2 drive away https://pequotcyclists.com/Sunday-Ride.htm

List of CT bike clubs

We're about 1/2 hour away to the south, not sure what ride we'll be doing Sat & Sun yet.

Bumping for any last minute suggestions.

I called the two LBS's in the Hamptons and they said no organized rides in the area yet.

Anyone know if route 27 from East Hampton to Montauk is a good idea or bad idea??

The LBS in East Hampton suggested route 114...any thoughts on this one?

Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Doug
