Bike from Boston to NYC

I'm going to bike from Boston to NYC on June 23-25. Will someone else join me?

I'm a graduate student studying in Transportation engineering, Northeastern University. I came from China.

Contact with me by guo.ch.6@gmail.com, if you are interested.

I'll appreciate it if someone can recommend a route for this trip.

I have been wanting to try this for quite some time, since I live in Boston and have family in NY, and I go back and forth frequently. Things are very busy for me right now so I have no idea yet whether I could join you for the 23rd-25th, but if you do it and especially if you get a group together, please keep in touch with me.

For routes and tips, there is a good thread about this already: https://www.bikeforums.net/archive/in.../t-291277.html

Ahhhh you chose a time right when I have Jury Duty! (The 24th) I have actually been interested in doing some touring this summer. Hope you have a good time though!

Dnuzzomueller, especially if I don't go with Chao, let's shoot for this some other time this summer!

Oooh, someone else who dares to open the dreaded STI black box! If you don't mind, I'm going to add your page to my thread about this at https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php/319478 -- your documentation is considerably better than mine!

Some threads that dealt with NYC to Boston.

Bear Mountain to New York might be of interest to you.

I would advise purchasing street level paper maps of the area as they make getting the big picture of where you are and where you are going easier than some sort of small screen electronic device.

Hey there,

How did your trip go? I'm planning the same for the weekend prior to Labor Day. I'd love to learn about your route & findings.

And -- would anyone else like to join?

Plan is for ~3 60-mile days.

Cheers,
--Dave
