Live in Lockport, NY. Looking for someone to ride with.

Hello, I live in Lockport, NY and I am looking for someone to ride with. I generally go out for a ride every evening.
I ride a 24 speed Mountain bike, and it might be tough to keep up with a seasoned Road Bike Rider, but I am willing to give it a try.
Right now I am riding the canal path around Lockport as I live one block from the canal, and around the city of Lockport streets.
I ride between 5 and 10 miles a day, but am looking to increase that.
My average speed is 10-13 MPH, but I have only been riding for a month or so and this has been increasing at a slow, steady pace.
I can also ride in the AM, but prefer to avoid the afternoon because it has been so hot the last couple weeks.
On days around 80 I can go out anytime of the day.

Anyone interested send me a message, or reply to this thread.

Thanks!!

Move to the other end of the Canal path near Newark... I too am looking for someone(s) to ride with along the Canal, and a couple other local smooth/flat trails.

I have a better idea, at least from my perspective. Why don't you move to this end?? We have a number of other bike paths here too that are at least as nice as the canal path.
