NYC/NJ/CT Area Cannondale Dealer
Hello all,
I was hoping to find 2011 CAAD 10's (with 105) for great markdowns but only found 1-2 2011 105 CAAD10s for $1499 here in NYC/LI/NJ. 2012 105 CAAD 10s can be had for $1560-1600 now so my search for 2011 closeout deals kinda failed.
In 2011 in Northern CA, multiple LBS's were pricing the current year, 2011 105 CAAD 10 for ~$1200.
I was expecting to find 2011 105 CAAD10s now for under $1200....Can anyone recommend a Cannondale dealer for me that would have "good" deals on 2011 closeout CAADS? I'm located in NYC.
Thanks!

I don't know what deals their specifically offering, but the two local c'dale dealers I've used and had good experiences with are Hickory and Tweed in Armonk, NY and Piermont Bicycle across the river in Piermont, NY. The latter is closed for vacation this week, but they're worth a call if you can wait.
Also - are you basing your research on web searches, or are you actually talking to places?

yup - I've called about 25 dealers (mainly in NYC/BK/LI/NJ) and been to 3.
Best deal so far has been $1159 for CAAD 5 (105), my size, in red.
I'm looking to pull the trigger soon =)

That's not a bad price at all. MSRP on the 2012 model is $1650. REI has them for $1499. For an apples to oranges comparison, the best price I've found near me for a 2011 Allez Elite Comp, which has a comparable frame to the CAAD 10 and is Specialized's "race geometry" aluminum rival to the CAAD, is $896 with a 9 speed Tiagra group. Another ~$260 for a 105 group on a similar type bike sounds good to me. I'm not sure of this, but I believe that the Cannondale 6069 frame is made in Taiwan, and the Spesh E5 frame is Chinese. I will stand to be corrected on that if it's not the case.
