AMtrak and Cumberland Maryland

so Am I the only person who has wanted to pack my bike on amtrak and take it to cumberland get off the train and ride home on the C&O canal? Why cant we depart there with a bike? Are there any petitions floating around that I could sign? If you are from cumberland, you might want to raise some hell with your local govt about it, you guys are loosing tourist revenue! My brother and I had a nice trip planned out until we learned we could not bring bikes! WTF we just cancellled the trip Amtrak loses money as well as small towns along the trail. I wonder how many other people have wanted to do that ride but cancelled because of logistics?
