Rockville MD trail
Any riders in the Rockville, MD area? I drive through the area for work on many occasions on the outer loop and RT 270. I've noticed the trail bridges over the roadway but rarely do I see anyone on them. I looked online and it looks like a decent loop trail set up. How is the trail conditions? Is it paved throughout? More for a road bike or would need a hybrid or MTB tire? Is there safety concerns with the caged beasts? I have not been impressed with the drivers in that area. Any comments would be appreciated.

If you are talking about the trail bridges near the Rockville Pike split, that's the North Bethesda Trail. I was on it this past weekend (miles 8 to 13 on the enclosed map https://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=5434608 )
I use it as an alternate route to get from Bethesda to Beach Drive. Combination of paved trail and residential street and is in pretty good shape. The North Bethesda part is not signed, so it's best to take a map. Part of it follows the North Bethesda Trolley Trail. The trail has not been extended all the way into Rockville, so you'll have to deal with Rockville Pike, switch to Beach Drive/Rock Creek Trail or find some other side road.

Have fun.
