Route Help - Near Borgata in Atlantic City??

Hoping someone could help me out with a route in Atlantic City. I am staying at the Borgata next week for work and will have about an hour each morning to ride but am not familiar with any cycling routes in the area. I would prefer to use my road bike, but do also have a mountain bike I can ride instead if needed. It looks like the boardwalk might be an option...Does anyone know if there is an actual paved lane alongside the boardwalk or will my mountain bike be better suited for that?

Can I ride out directly from the Borgata or is that a full-fledge highway that connects it?

I am still new to cycling so any input would be appreciated so i can plan accordingly and safely. Thank you.

I was thinking of bringing my bike when I am there in October - I know Ventor has some great road riding - not sure about leaving right from Borgata

What are you going to do aith your bike while you stay there

I am going to be driving and parking in the parking garage at the hotel so I will hide it in the truck. I am leaning towards mountain bike as I will have limited time in the morning to get a workout in. Hopefully I can scout out the area for next time. I know there are some great areas outside of the city to ride if you travel with a vehicle and have longer periods of time to ride.

Head towards brigantine. Should be a nice ride once you get over the bridge.
