Looking for Ideas; Dirt road/ Bike Packing route

I'm coming into this summer with my 29'er touring/commuting bike built and I'd like to do a multi-day bikepacking trip.

My perfect route would be a 50-80 mile dirt road loop that touched areas with public camping available.

Anyone have any ideas for place to ride or resources where I could research this?

Thanks all!

I've thought about doing something similar in the general area of Rutland (Mass.) State Park/Forest and other public land out that way Many miles of dirt/gravel/trail/rail-trail out there. There are certainly more scenic destinations, but it's close to me and not too far away from you.

Here's an idea: check out the route for last year's Kearsage Klassic (85 mile mosly dirt ride) up in New Hampshire. Perhaps camp at Wellington State Park?

D'oh, I spelled "Kearsarge" wrong, sorry. Here's a write-up of last year's ride on Lovely Bicycle . I would like to get out on these roads!

lots of dirt in VT. heading up from MA you could do some nice loops in the green mountains. public camping at several state parks and a national forest service campground.

and there is an end to end bikepacking route in the works:
