South County Trailway in Westchester: clear of snow/ice?

I really want to ride from the Bronx up to Elmsford on this trail this weekend, but I haven't been on it since before all the snowfall and have no idea if it is cleared in the winter. Has anyone ridden it recently? What condition is it in? Thanks!

I don't have firsthand knowledge, but I wouldn't bet on it. Sidewalks in westchester are pretty much clear (because they've been shoveled and sanded and salted), but there's still snow left on lawns and shaded areas..

Maybe Saturday will finally melt what's left..

I rode north through Van Cortlandt Park onto the SC Trailway a little past the Cross County Parkway. The VCP trail is muddy and still a little icy in spots, but totally rideable. The SCT as far as I took it was 98% clear and dry, with minor slush/ice patches. I rode on Challenge 700C x 27mm Parigi Roubaix tires, and got off a couple of times on the muddiest sections in VCP. A mountain bike isn't needed now, and the trail should be even better tomorrow.

I loves me my fenders!
