They are fixing the GWB access

I just read a release GWB Cable Project to Include Safety Retrofits for Cyclists, Pedestrians | Transportation Alternatives that says they are going to remove the hairpin turn on the entrance to the GWB. I noted to myself over 25 years ago that it would be easy to create a full helix ramp on that same spot since it is just a grassy median. They also say something vague about the stairs on the north side. Maybe they'll also look at the awkward turns at they towers, but it doesn't say anything about that.

Let's hope that they fix the stairs on the north side BEFORE they close the south side to do the work there.
