Any riders in the Lake Placid, NY area?
I like to go to the Adirondacks for short vacations and usually go to Old Forge or the Speculator areas, but thought about trying the Lake Placid area this time.
Could anyone give me any info about the best time to go (e.g. when the black flies are gone), good places to ride, places to stay where I could bring my bike in the room, etc?
