Cape Cod?

I know th cape had a tough winter , just wondering if it's recovered enough to ride there yet. Specifically the rail trail...thanks

Don't know about the rail trail, but the Falmouth and Canal bike paths are OK to ride on.

Th roads have a lot of sand on the shoulder, and some are in rough shape, but they are rideable.

thanks..that helps..

With any luck, the rains we had yesterday and this morning have washed some of the sand off the roads.

Any updates on the rail trail conditions, esp. unmelted snow?

It should be clear now. Temperatures have been in the mid 50s to low 60s for about five days. I have no idea what kind of condition the pavement's in, however.

The Rail Trail is clear and ready to ride. The GREAT news is that in about a dozen places where roots and rocks had pushed up and broken the pavement have been fixed and are now smooth

I rode the Falmouth trail from Chappaquoit Rd. to Woods Hole on Saturday, and except for the couple hundred yards just south of Woods Hole Road, which has had some root heaves for years, the pavement is in great shape. The surrounding roads aren't too bad.

A group of us from the forum rode the trail Saturday, it's perfect.
