Route suggestions much appreciated

Hi! I'm up here for the summer and I have no idea where to ride. I live near the Turtle Creek community in Concord.

I've done the Iron Horse end-to-end a fair amount of times, I'm pretty sick of that, and same goes for Mt. Diablo, and those are the only two rides I know up here. I'd appreciate any suggestions, 30-50 mile rides, preferably at least moderately safe, if possible. Also preferably no bridges and no Marsh Creek Road (Road? Drive? the one that goes to Brentwood).

Also, Strava keeps recommending I take Bailey, but that's not possible, right?

Sick of riding Diablo? This is a joke, right?

Could head west. East bay hills are awesome...

Do Not Take Bailey. I live near it. That would be nuts.

I love the Turtle Creek area. I live in that part of town.

Try this Morgan Territory Loop, 50 Miles. One of my favorites. A teensy bit of the early and safe part of Marsh Creek.

P.M. me via BikeForums if you want to ride. I have a bunch of other routes for this area to suggest.

Scott - I'm not exactly sick of riding Diablo, it's just that my knees are. I'm quite a ways away from being a climber.

Curbtender - wow, that's a lot of routes, thanks! I look forward to checking them out.

Lance - thanks for the link, and I messaged you.

... messaged you in reply. :)

I used this blog when I started out and it has great routes for every level: Bay Area Bike Rides | It's Not Lame

I'm always down to ride with BF members. Granted I've only ever ridden with @DiabloScott and have only seen @cccorlew in passing, either way let me know if you are open to me tagging along.

About twice a year is all I can handle; it's just not that great of a ride, IMO. It's like a 1/3-scale Haleakala. Granted, it's a 90-minute drive for me to get there, but still.

Until I can climb the mountain as fast as Mr. English I'll never be bored.
