bike stolen on Caltrain in Bay Area on August 20, Thursday
At 8 AM on Aug 20, I got on Belmont station in Bay Area, taking train. 221 northbound, left my bike near the entrance (it was the only one at that spot) and did not really watch it. when I was ready to get off at 8:27 AM at south San Francisco station, my bike was gone. three other bikes were at that spot, so my bike must been stolen not long after I left it there.
The transit police did not care saying there is not camera on the train or on the train station.
my bike is Specialized vita comp, black, small size for lady, road bike, straight bar. if you happen to see it, drop me a message.
Closely watch your bike!

Unfortunately, I think this kind of theft happens more often than Caltrain wants to admit. Always watch your bike, especially when the train stops at a station. If you can't find a seat in the bike car with a view of your bike, then stand up near the door and watch your bike from there.
