Sacramento area - intro to cyclocross?

Want to race in the sac area cyclocross series this fall, but have never done such a thing. Do any of the Sac area bike shops (or other groups) offer "beginner" classes for CX techniques, tips, etc?

Sacramento Cyclocross 2015 is the local series

There's some fantastic CX racing in Sacto. Couple of shops heve pre season clinics around August and there's the GHETTO crew with informal races midweek and then RodeoCross in Folsom early in the season. Plenty of opportunity to hone those rusty or new skills. PM me if you want details.

Yep. Pretty sure that was part of the annual Sac CX series that @caloso linked. That's what I want to train for (with 0 prior CX experience).

You might try contacting The Bicycle Business on Freeport in Sacramento. I know several of the employees there participate in cyclocross and they may have some resources for training rides.
