Rans Recumbent (two Wheel)
Got this Rans Recumbent a while back, Two Questions ( at least at this time LOL)
1...Anyone in the Modesto area that could help out with a Tune up?
2...The bike has Rear Tire 40x26x1.50 "skinny tire" with I think a 1 inch rim? What what might be a larger tire I can replace it with? A little more Cushion! LOL Thanks

Any bike shop should be able to do a tune-up. Some might not want to, because they are a pain to put on the stand, but they could. A recumbent bike shop would be more willing.
Tire width is a matter of how much room there is, and what the rim can handle.
Scroll toward the bottom of this page, and there's a chart showing tire widths for rim widths.

You might try the Recumbents forum to see if anyone knows what width this bike can handle, or you could just measure how much clearance is there. Actually 1.5" is pretty wide, at least in the road bike genre in the timeframe this bike was built.
