if anyone is interested in a long time custom builder in San Jose, I just tripped over this copyright 2020 site https://sasobike.com/

I had thought he had retired but it does not look that way

Threadless steering tube extension by custom bike builder - $75 (san jose east)

image 1 of 2

craigslist - Map data OpenStreetMap
14860 E Hills Drive(google map)

condition: new
make / manufacturer: Saso bike
part type: frameset (frame and fork)
Are you converting one of your bikes to a gravel adventure bike or a 29er MT. bike but finding the steering tube too short? Don't throw away the original fork. You can get the steering tube extended by a master custom bike builder.

The steering tube is cut, machined, fitted then braze welded. Check out the pics.

Threadless steering tube extension $75
Threaded steering tube extension $85
