Any recent LA to South Bay transfers?
I was wondering if there was anyone who has recently moved from here (LA) to there (Silicon Valley) that might have some insights into the cycling scene between the two areas. Comparisons for road, mountain, commuting, advocacy, infrastructure, etc.
My company has a position in Sunnyvale that I am thinking about, but I am currently working in Santa Monica, living in West LA, and am split on the thought of moving. I expect that that things are far better "up north", but things in SoCal are certainly getting heaps more interesting all the time.
Thanks for any advice.

I'm a transplant but not a recent one, and my cycling in Socal was limited to the lovely and scenic area around USC. Needless to say I like it much better up here ...
