I wish I could join you to honor my son, John, but I'm stuck in the Midwest. I'll do a ride here. Nobody heard of him here but it doesn't matter one iota. We're honoring all the fallen cyclists that have had to learn life's most difficult lesson at the wheels of an assault weapon armed by some careless, thoughtless, and irresponsible person and paid with their lives for the lesson. Their productive lives that were in the process of contributing to society while Mr. or Mrs. Meth-freak or Mr. or Mrs. Alchohol addict couldn't just stay home and sleep it off. Just had to get behind the wheel. Thanks so much for participating. We need to raise the awareness level of the driving public or this could (and possibly will) happen again tomorrow afternoon to someone we love.
Fondly,
Mary Ann
