Are those Zero Gravity brakes? Awesome looking bike. 16.5 lbs for a steel rig is quite special.

Well my bike isn't one of the super lightweight, carbon fiber, aerodynamically enhanced, super tuned beasts that some of you guys ride (just a hint of jealousy) but it gets me around.

How tall are you? If you're tall, the saddle height seems low, if you're small, the frame looks too large. Or do you have shorter legs and longer torso than average?

I was scolded for taking a picture with that gray sticker still on the cranks, and my build wasn't even finished...

This is a used frame I bought a few months back. The one you saw is a Merckx with the same blue/white color. Actually I wanted the frame c0lnago has but it was too expensive for me.

Took this out for a ride today. 1995 Klein Attitude with full XTR (except crankset, XTR went octilink so had to settle for the XT with the square spindle).

Well it is one of those compact one size fits a lot of folks kind of frame and I happen to be on the small end of the "fits most" spectrum. I did buy it used without a fitting because it was just within my price range and I just can't find anything at a bargain in my area. I don't believe I'm out of proportion and the reach is just a tad further than I'd like but its comfortable for the most part.

Nothing wrong with the bike, but I see where BlastRadius is coming from here - depending on how new you are to cycling, you might find that you can raise the saddle a little anyway. Bike fit by internet is always dicey though....

Here's more new ride. It's too bad that the Rock Lobster had to die to make it happen, but I'm now on the bike of my dreams...

2004 Kona Dr Dew (The Daily Workhorse) & 2005 Tirreno Razza 3.0
I bought the Kona after scouring Craigslist to try to bike commute. I'm a month in and it's going well other than I can think of so many things I want buy for or do to the bike, at the least the bike was on $250 . The Tirreno is another earlier Craigslist find. It's been awesome so far and justs eats up the mileage (Also the triple is godsend for a clyde in hilly area!)

Finally shot some pics worth posting here. I got the steer tube cut down a little bit too after riding it for a couple of weeks, so it's got a seat->bar drop closer to what I wanted.
