Nice ride.. Where's the Della Santa these days? It's not off crying in a corner is it?

How's the Kish ride compared to the DS?

DS is chillin'. It's patiently waiting for the new bike smell to wear off

This bike rides pretty darn fast, climbs well and descends like a beast. The DS might have the edge on long-ride comfort though; I haven't had the chance to take Kish out for a 4-5 hr ride yet so I just don't know.

Holy crap, I am not usually a big fan of the vintage-looking bike, but this is one incredible bike. If you don't mind me asking, how much did the build end up costing?

Wow! Some really nice bikes in this thread...drooling at my desk and contemplating spending many thousands on bikes. Thanks .

Anyhoo, my bikes are simple, cheap, and I'm having a lot of fun on them!

Finally a picture of our recently acquired Santana ('93 Visa). Almost two months we took the plunge. It took about two weeks to take it apart, clean it, and install some new parts (brake levers and v-brakes, stoker suspension post, stem, handlebars, cables and housings, rack, tire, and saddles). We are really enjoying it.

That's great Georges, it's awesome that you've found a way to share your hobby with Mrs Georges.

And it's a pretty bike as well.

I hope you enjoy many smiles on that bike.

It was at Foxy's, but it didn't make to the dinner session out there on the grass following the ride. After building it, BBM shook it down for a couple weeks and said it even rides like the Palo Alto.

Very nice looking bike. Stem looks nice and flipped. Seat looks like it would be too far forward for me. How's it ride?

Is that in the Richmond by any chance?

I've got to post a pic of my bike up here soon. I really, really want to, but there's always one little thing I want to fix before I do.

I haven't made any adjustments yet. The saddle does look kinda forward though it feels ok. I'll play with it some this weekend. It rides great! I'm coming from an old Lemond Zurich that I loved but was just a hair too big for me. So I got sucked into the world of Titanium. This is in the Sunset actually.

The bike's history is as cool as the bike itself. Very nice!
